UAE Delivery Charges

  • Orders of AED 1,000 and above: FREE standard delivery
  • Orders below AED 1,000: AED 25 delivery fee

During peak shopping periods, promotional events, or periods of high order volume, deliveries may experience occasional delays. Delays may also occur when items need to be consolidated from different stores or warehouse locations.

International Shipping

Doppelgänger Roma UAE offers international shipping to selected destinations outside the UAE.

For international orders, you can generally expect to receive your shipment within 5–7 working days after processing. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, courier operations, and customs clearance procedures.

Doppelgänger Roma UAE will not deal with or provide products or services to countries subject to applicable OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) sanctions, in accordance with applicable UAE laws and regulations.

International Shipping Charges

International shipping charges are calculated based on the total shipment value, which may include:

  • Invoice value of the products
  • Shipping and freight charges
  • Applicable customs declaration or processing fees

The applicable international shipping charge will be displayed or communicated before the order is processed.

Customs Duties & Taxes

Customs duties, import taxes, VAT, clearance fees, and other destination-related charges are not included in the product price or delivery fee unless specifically stated otherwise.

Any applicable customs duties, taxes, and related charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are determined by the customs authorities of the destination country.

Estimated charges may apply as follows:

  • Saudi Arabia (KSA): Declaration fee of 0.15% of the shipment value, subject to a minimum of SAR 15 and a maximum of SAR 500. A 15% VAT may also apply, generally calculated based on the invoice value plus freight/shipping charges.
  • Qatar: Customs clearance fee of approximately QAR 20, plus applicable Qatar Security Charges and any duties or taxes assessed by customs.
  • Oman: Customs duties and taxes are estimated at approximately 10% of the invoice value, subject to final customs assessment.
  • Kuwait: Customs duties and taxes are estimated at approximately 10% of the invoice value, subject to final customs assessment.
  • Bahrain: Customs duties and taxes are estimated at approximately 15% of the invoice value, subject to final customs assessment.

Important: These amounts and percentages are provided as general estimates only and are not guaranteed. The final charges are determined solely by the relevant customs authorities.

How Customs Duties Are Determined

Customs duties, taxes, and clearance charges are assessed by the destination country's customs authority in accordance with its applicable import laws and tariff regulations.

For garments and fashion products, customs authorities may consider factors including:

  • Declared invoice value
  • HS code classification
  • Country of origin
  • Material or fabric composition
  • Freight and shipping charges
  • Purpose of import, whether personal or commercial

Customs authorities may reclassify an HS code or reassess the declared shipment value, which may result in charges that differ from initial estimates.

Additional charges may also include VAT/GST, customs processing fees, clearance fees, handling charges, inspection fees, or storage/demurrage charges resulting from delayed clearance or payment.

As a general guideline, customs duties and import taxes for GCC destinations may commonly range between approximately 5% and 10% of the invoice value. For Saudi Arabia, combined applicable duties and taxes may be higher and can range approximately between 15% and 20%, depending on product classification and the final customs assessment.

The final amount payable is determined only at the time of customs clearance.

Payment of Customs Charges

Where customs duties, taxes, or clearance charges apply, the local courier or logistics partner will contact the customer directly regarding the applicable amount and payment requirements before proceeding with delivery.

Doppelgänger Roma UAE does not determine or control charges imposed by destination-country customs authorities.

Failure to pay the required charges or provide documentation requested by customs or the courier may result in:

  • Delivery delays
  • Additional handling or storage charges
  • Non-release of the shipment
  • Return of the shipment

Any additional costs resulting from delayed customs clearance, non-payment, or failure to provide the required documentation may be the responsibility of the customer.

Qatar – Personal Importation Requirements

For shipments delivered to Qatar, additional customs requirements may apply to personal imports.

For personal importation, the importer may be required to provide a valid:

  • Qatar ID
  • Passport
  • Residence Permit

The Qatar Customs Authority or appointed courier may request these documents to complete the customs clearance process.

Failure to provide the required identification or documentation may result in delays, additional charges, or non-release of the shipment.

Customs clearance procedures and documentation requirements are determined solely by the Qatar Customs Authority and are outside the control of Doppelgänger Roma UAE and its logistics partners.

Customers may refer to the official Qatar Customs guidelines for the clearance of imported parcels for the latest requirements.

Important Information for International Orders

Before placing an international order, we recommend reviewing the customs and import regulations applicable to your destination country.

Please ensure that:

  • Your delivery address, email address, and contact number are accurate.
  • You are available to respond to communications from the courier or customs authority.
  • Any required identification or import documentation can be provided promptly.
  • You understand that customs duties, VAT, taxes, clearance fees, and other import-related charges may be payable separately from your Doppelgänger Roma UAE order.

By placing an international order, the customer acknowledges that any applicable customs duties, taxes, VAT/GST, clearance fees, handling charges, and other import-related costs are the customer's responsibility and may be collected separately by the courier or relevant customs authority.
