International Shipping

For orders shipped outside the UAE, delivery is typically completed within 5 to 7 working days, depending on the destination and customs clearance process.

International shipping charges are calculated based on the total shipment weight and the destination country. The final shipping cost will be automatically calculated and displayed at checkout before payment is completed.

Please note that delivery timelines may vary due to customs procedures or other factors beyond our control.

Customs duties, taxes, and any additional charges imposed by the destination country’s customs authority are not included in the shipping fee and remain the responsibility of the customer.

Customs duties, taxes, and any related charges are not included in our product prices or delivery fees and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

All customs duties and taxes are assessed and levied exclusively by the destination country’s customs authority, in accordance with its applicable import laws and tariff regulations. These charges are outside the control of Doppelganger ROMA Middle East or our logistics partners and may vary from shipment to shipment.

For garment shipments, customs authorities may determine duties and taxes based on several factors, including but not limited to:

• Declared invoice value
• HS code classification of the items
• Country of origin
• Material composition (e.g., cotton, synthetic, or mixed fabrics)
• Purpose of import (personal or commercial use)

As customs assessments are regulation-driven and discretionary, there is no fixed or guaranteed percentage for duties and taxes. Customs authorities may apply higher charges in certain cases, including but not limited to:

• Reclassification of HS codes
• Reassessment of declared shipment value
• Application of VAT/GST in addition to customs duty
• Imposition of customs processing, clearance, or inspection fees

Additional charges may also apply, such as customs clearance fees, handling or inspection charges, or storage/demurrage fees if clearance or payment is delayed.

As a general guideline, for GCC countries, customs duties may typically range between 5% and 10% of the invoice value. Actual charges depend on the destination country’s regulations and the final assessment made by customs at the time of clearance.

The final payable amount, if any, is determined only at the time of customs clearance and will be communicated directly to the customer by customs or via the shipping carrier.
